Whether we’re brand new mothers, still expecting or taking care of toddlers, motherhood is not easy. Not only is it taxing on our body, but our mind. We know the basics of what babies need — diapers, wipes, bottles, hugs — but when it comes to the specifics, and when exactly we’re going to need each specific thing, it gets overwhelming. Fast. Need a helping hand?

The newest addition to Walmart’s Baby Registry experience, the Baby Box, is a specially curated “surprise-and-delight” box with helpful (and fun!) products to guide us through the exciting early years of motherhood. When we subscribe to the Pre-Natal Box, we’ll receive the Newborn and Toddler Boxes as our child grows. Each box contains 12 samples and 2 inserts, which add up to a $40 value, but guess what? The box is free for registrants with no shipping fee required!

We’re going to be looking into the Newborn Box. The packaging is adorable, featuring the ever-so-cute Hoo the Owl, Walmart’s registry helper. Things only get better when we open it up!

Inside, we’ll find essentials, such as a set of Pampers Pure diapers, which claim to offer up to 12 hours of protection for long days with no changing tables in sight. There are also Pampers wipes, made specifically for sensitive skin with no added perfume! If we’re using a baby wipe, there’s a good chance we might need some diaper rash, and that’s in the box too. The Desitin diaper cream is a maximum-strength cream that may provide our little one long-lasting relief! Need a little extra hydration? Dig around for the Aveeno lotion and Aquaphor ointment, too! Okay, babies need a lot of lotion, so there’s a Babyganics lotion in there, too!

There is still so much more to this box. If we’re breastfeeding, we can make great use of the Nanobebe Mom kit. If we’re using formula, there’s an Enfamil Formula packet, which is non-GMO and may help to ease fussiness, gas and crying. Whatever our baby is drinking, we can pour it into the included Dr. Brown’s bottle, which has an anti-colic design that may reduce spit-up, burping and gas!

We still have quite a few items left! There’s the Evenflo Pacifier, which is made of a soft and flexible silicone, and the Dreft detergent, which claims to leave clothes super soft for our baby’s delicate skin. Try washing the included Carter’s onesie with it!

Lastly, we have the box‘s two inserts. First is a buying guide for car seats and strollers, helping to make sure we have the right size. Any featured products in the guide can be scanned with the Walmart app and added directly to our registry.

The other insert is the Monthly Milestone Card set, which helps to document all important early milestones, like when our baby turns three months old, or first crawls or walks. These cards are great for photo ops, but check the back, too, as each one includes a blurb (and scannable code) on what to expect that month, along with a product recommendation!

This Baby Box is so much better than endlessly searching the internet for answers, all of which contradict each other. Walmart has our back, and our baby’s, during these super important, formative years, and we are so grateful. We’ve got this, and we’re going to rock it!
